Bennington Grade School Achieves Building Wide Standard of Excellence in Reading and Math

On Wednesday, November 21st the Bennington Grade School and Junior High recognized students for the academic achievement on the 2006 - 2007 Kansas Assessments. The students received certificates for achieving Meets Standard and Exceeds Standard levels of performance on the assessments. Students achieving the Exemplary level of performance received a medal and certificate. Classes were also awarded medals for Grade level Standard of Excellence performance and the whole school celebrated with an ice cream party for achieving Building Wide Standard of Excellence in Reading and Math for 2006 - 2007. Grade Levels achieving the Standard of Excellence were: 4th grade Math; 4th grade Reading; 6th grade Math; 6th grade Reading; 7th grade Reading; and 8th grade Reading. The teachers for these classes were also awarded certificates of their classes achievement to display in their classrooms.
