Summer Reading Screeches to a Halt!

by Tammy Jilka

July 22, 2008

  • Bennington's Summer Reading Program came to and end on July 8th! What a fun summer reading we all had.  Rolling Hills Zoo joined us to help us "Catch the Reading Bug"; as well as all the fun arts and crafts available each week for all ages to enjoy.   All the children who participated this summer at the library were treated to a pizza party for their continued reading success throughout the summer.

Those who earned Reading Bucks as well were able to shop in the at the Reading Bucks store for some cool prizes!  Prizes were donated by area business's in and around the Bennington Community.  We would like to thank all of the children and families that attended this summer.
