Bennington 6th Grade Student Participates in All-State Honor Band

Bennington 6 th grader recently participated in the 2012 John Philip Sousa Kansas Juniors All-State Honor Band.  On January 21 st and 22 nd , 180 6-9 th grade students from across the state traveled to the University of Kansas to participate in this select event.  Students who were selected for this honor were placed in one of two bands, blue or red, based upon the results of a taped audition.    As a 6 th . . . read more
