UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 240
The Hearing on the 2009-2010 Budget was held on August 17, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the Unified District Office. Those present were Board of Education members Phil Aumick, Bernie Regnier, Rick Bremerman, Kelli Webb, Mark Whitesell and Matt Ehrhart; Administrators Richard D. Harlan, Bill Edwards, Craig Gantenbein, Becky Cheney and Brent Mumford; Clerk Cindy Regnier.
President Mark Whitesell called the hearing to order at 7:00 p.m.
It was moved by Matt Ehrhart and seconded by Rick Bremerman to accept the 2009-10 budget as published. The motion was carried 6-0.
Kelli Webb moved that the budget hearing be adjourned. Rick Bremerman seconded the motion and it carried. 6-0.
President Mark Whitesell adjourned the meeting.

Minutes of the meeting of the Board of Education held on August 17, 2009 at the Unified District Office. Those present were Board Members Bernie Regnier, Phil Aumick, Kelli Webb, Mark Whitesell, Rick Bremerman and Matt Ehrhart; Administrators Richard D. Harlan, Bill Edwards, Craig Gantenbein, Becky Cheney and Brent Mumford; Clerk Cindy Regnier.
President Mark Whitesell called the meeting to order at 7:15 p.m.
The agenda for the meeting was adopted. Motion by Rick Bremerman, seconded by Matt Ehrhart. Carried with 6-0 vote.
The consent agenda (July 20, 2009 minutes and checks 44746 through 44818 in the amount of $348,684.52) for the meeting was adopted with no changes or additions. Motion by Phil Aumick, seconded by Matt Ehrhart. Carried with 6-0 vote.
Motion by Kelli Webb to authorize the attendance of 15 out-of-district students at Bennington Schools and 4 at Tescott Schools and to deny attendance to 1 out of district student at Bennington schools. Seconded by Matt Ehrhart. Carried 6-0.
Motion by Rick Bremerman that the board go into executive session for 20 minutes to discuss personnel. Seconded by Phil Aumick. Carried 6-0. The board went into executive session at 8:10 p.m.
The Board reconvened at 8:30 p.m.
Motion by Bernie Regnier to accept the resignations of Jan Schoshke as Tescott Custodian, Cathryn Wenthe as THS Assistant Play Director and Connie Foxhoven as Bennington Cook. Seconded by Rick Bremerman. Carried 6-0.
Motion by Kelli Webb to hire Kim Oldham as Bennington cook, Tracy Piepho as Head Softball Coach and Sheri Ahlquist as Tescott Custodian. Seconded Matt Ehrhart. Carried 6-0.
President Mark Whitesell adjourned the meeting.
