BJH Students Chosen for Honor Band

The 2010 NC Kansas District KMEA Jr. High Honor Band was held on Saturday, January 16 at Junction City Middle School. The students that were selected from Bennington were: Erica, flute; Ryan, tenor saxophone; and Heath, baritone. Erica and Ryan participated along with 84 other students from 19 different schools, rehearsing for close to 3 ½ hours and performing a concert for the community in the afternoon. The guest clinician for the honor band was Mr. Chris Reynolds, the acting bandleader of the 312th Army Band. Congratulations to Erica, Ryan and Heath for all their hard work.
