USD 240 Art
Teacher of Visual Art has always been my dream job. In high school I was offered many classes that propelled me to this career path. I graduated in 2016 from The University of Kansas with a Bachelor in Visual Arts Education. As an artist I enjoy all forms of Art; expanded media, digital art, ceramics, 2-D and 3-D art. My favorite is printmaking, as it offers many collaboration opportunities. I received the Larabee scholarship for an exhibition of my artwork at KU. My experiences travelling to Europe has fostered a love for multicultural artwork, which I apply to my lessons, and activities for my students. I endeavor to create lasting student/teacher relationships students can reflect on for years after and influence the relationships of their future.
