I graduated high school from Southeast of Saline. I attended Tabor College and played football. I transferred to Bethany College and then to Fort Hays State University in 1991 where I served as KSNEA president. I have a B.S. in Elementary Education with endorsements in Social Science, Math, and Language Arts. My student teaching was at Simpson Elementary Kindergarten in Russell, Kansas. After graduating, I served as the At-Risk Coordinator in Lindsborg, Kansas. I starting teaching math and social studies at Bennington in 1994. Since then, I have coached jr. high and high school football, jr. high boys and girls basketball, and jr. high and high school track. I currently teach 7th-8th grade social studies, current events and high school geography.
