Steven Kimmi

Steven Kimmi has a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education from Kansas State University and a Master's of Science in Education Administration from Fort Hays State University.  He taught eleven years at the elementary level, in Junction City, KS and Salina, KS.  He has taught fourth and fifth grade throughout his career. In addition, he has spent two summers directing a summer program for children, grades K through 6th.  This is his third year as principal of Tescott Schools.

Lisa Walker
4th Grade

Mrs. Walker received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Fort Hays State University, and her Master’s of Arts in Education from Baker University. She taught one year of Kindergarten before moving to the USD 240 district. She has been teaching 4th grade in USD 240 for 27 years. She is married to Daymon Walker. She has a son, Logan, who is 26 years old and is currently doing his residency in surgery in Wichita. He is getting married in April to Trudy.   Her daughter, Meghan, is 24 years old.  She is married to Justin who is in the Air Force.  They live in Okinawa Japan.  Mrs. Walker has a step-son, Taylor, who lives in Plainville with his fiancé Jocelyn. She also has a step-daughter, Bayleigh, who is married to Sadie.  They live in Pratt.  Mrs. Walker is also head junior high volleyball and basketball coach, and assistant high school volleyball coach.  In her spare time, Mrs. Walker likes to go to auctions, and watch “Fixer Upper”. She also like to travel with her husband.

Jeff Mick
HS Science

I graduated from Bennington High School in 1986. I then attended Kansas State University where I graduated with BS degrees in Biology and Fish and Wildlife Biology.  I then attended Fort Hays State University where I received a BS degree in Biology Education.  I began my teaching career in Palco, KS where I taught for 2 years.  I began teaching in Tescott in 1994, where I have taught 7th grade Life Science, 8th grade Physical Science, Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Anatomy and Physiology.  I have endorsements in 5-12 General Science, 6-12 Earth and Space Science, 6-12 Physics, 7-12 Biology, and 7-12 Chemistry.  In addition to my teaching duties, I also serve as the jr. high and high school cross-country coach, jr. high and high school scholars bowl coach, high school track and field coach, high school play director, and high school student council sponsor.
