We want to welcome you to Bennington Junior Senior High School, we are pleased to welcome new and returning students to the 2023-2024 school year.  Bennington schools have a long reputation of excellence, student support, and innovation.  Our size, location, and highly qualified staff allow us to offer many different opportunities to our students both inside and outside the classroom.  Bennington offers a rigorous core curriculum, as well as multiple Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways and college credit opportunities.  We also offer a wide array of extracurricular opportunities including a full range of sports, cheer, dance, forensics, NHS, scholar bowl and student council.  

Shane Clark is in his first year as principal at Bennington Junior Senior High School.  Mr. Clark received his Bachelor’s degree in secondary education at Tabor College and taught English for fourteen years in the Nickerson and Moundridge school systems.  He earned two Master’s degree in Education and School Leadership from Friends University. Prior to arriving at Bennington, Mr. Clark served as a building administrator in Southern Lyon County.  Mr. Clark is passionate about providing an exceptional and rewarding educational experience for all students, and preparing all Bennington students to be successful and productive citizens.
