Twin Valley kindergarten & 1st grade teachers have been going through every KS ELA standard (90 Kindergarten, 106 1st grade). They are identifying & aligning standards to better instruct students to increase student skill levels. Identifying when a standard is introduced, reinforced, and/or mastered better aligns curriculum vertically across all grade levels. Eventually, an improved standards-based grade card will result.
Thank you teachers for your tremendous work and efforts to make Twin Valley (Tescott & Bennington) students successful readers and writers!
