Bennington will be hosting RealityU for our Bennington & Tescott
students on the morning of Tuesday, Nov. 17. We will run two sessions.
Reality U is a 75-minute financial simulation where middle and high
school students step into life at 26. They get a career, a paycheck, a
family, and a monthly budget, then work through 12 hands-on booths of
real expenses with community volunteers beside them. Every student
walks out having made every decision themselves.
Volunteers are needed from 8:30 am to approximately 12:00 pm on this day. If you would be willing to volunteer this year, it would be greatly appreciated! If you would be willing to volunteer please contact Amy Vernon at avernon@usd240.org or jmitchell@usd240.org. If you would like to make a donation you can drop it off or send it to the district office at 107 N Nelson PO Box 38, Bennington, KS 67422.
