Twin Valley Schools recently had a momentous occasion as staff and students were recognized with several wards by Dr. Randy Watson, Kansas Commissioner of Education. The Commissioner's Awards with Honors, Cooper award for Academically Prepared for Postsecondary, Silver award for High School Graduation and Silver award for Postsecondary Success were bestowed upon the deserving recipients, the students and the staff, brining immense pride and joy tot he entire school community.

The Commissioner's Award with Honors is an award given to schools that outperform their predicted effectiveness rate that takes into account identified risk factors such as poverty, chronic absenteeism, and student mobility. This award is a testament to the dedication and hard work exhibited by the staff and students of Twin Valley Schools, and serves as a mark of distinction for those who have gone above and beyond to excel in their educational journey.

The Silver Award for High School Graduation is a celebration of the perseverance and determination shown by the students at Twin Valley Schools. The award recognizes the successful completion of high school and the readiness of students to take the next steps towards future aspirations.

Earning the Silver Award for Postsecondary Success is a remarkable achievement that underscores the effectiveness of the educational programs and support systems in place at Twin Valley Schools. Receiving the Copper Award for Academically Prepared for Postsecondary is a significant accomplishment that highlights the commitment Twin Valey Schools to provide a strong educational foundation for their students. This award recognizes Twin Valley for the percent of all students scoring at levels 3 and 4 on the Kansas state assessments in math, English language arts and science.
