Twin Valley kindergarten & 1st grade teachers have been going through every KS ELA standard (90 Kindergarten, 106 1st grade). They are identifying & aligning standards to better instruct students to increase student skill levels. Identifying when a standard is introduced, reinforced, and/or mastered better aligns curriculum vertically across all grade levels. Eventually, an improved standards-based grade card will result.

Due to weather forecast in Ness County, THS games for today have been cancelled. Due to scheduling, the games will not be made up.
NPL League tournament brackets are posted. THS Girls will play Friday at Lincoln Grade School. THS Boys earned a 1st round bye and will play Monday at Lincoln Grade School. Check out the brackets for more information.
Before Christmas break, Board Member, Juanita Morris stopped by to share a story with the Bennington preschool students. Juanita has enjoyed sharing a story with our Bennington preschool class for the last 2 years. This year our story was "It's Christmas David!".
